What is a metal razor?
Before the plastic razors we know today, people used a safety razor. Until the 17th century, straight razors were used so people had to be shaved by experienced barbers. Then the safety razor came along, and it got much easier for people to do their own shaving. It really started to gain mass popularity in the 20th century, when it became possible to change its double-edged blade.
What are the benefits of a metal razor?
For many reasons, using a double edge safety razor is better than using a disposable plastic razor. As well as being a beautiful object, it is also more efficient, less expensive and better for the planet.
